Review syndication is only available for Shopify users.
The feature is currently limited to TikTok Shops in the United States, with support for additional countries coming soon.
Currently, only AfterShip Reviews, Okendo, and Judge.me apps are supported.
Only verified reviews will be synced to TikTok Shop. These reviews come from genuine customers who have made a purchase. On Okendo, verified reviewers will be identified with a green Buyer badge to confirm their authenticity.
Before you get started, ensure you have:
An active Okendo account subscription.
A Shopify store connected to your Okendo account.
An AfterShip Feed account connected to your Okendo account.
Authorized Product Reviews and Ratings access rights to the AfterShip Feed app, so AfterShip Feed can import external reviews to TikTok Shop.
Go to Settings in your AfterShip Feed admin.
Select Review syndication to configure the review source and sync frequency.
If you have an Okendo account connected to your AfterShip Feed account:
Okendo will display below the Active review source. Select it to sync all newly collected reviews to TikTok Shop automatically. You can also sync your historical reviews manually later.
If you do not have an Okendo account connected to your Shopify store:
Upon entering the Review syndication configuration window, you’ll need to select the review app from where you want to sync reviews.
Select Okendo and click Connect.
Select Okendo to sync product reviews from.
Select the checkbox (optional) for Use this app as your review source if you have multiple review apps connected to your AfterShip Feed account and you want Okendo to be your only source of reviews.
On the Okendo installation page, you will be required to select the Store you want to install the app for and enter your Okendo User ID and API key.
In the Okendo admin, go to Settings > Integrations.
- Under Credentials, click the pencil icon to reveal the Okendo User ID. Copy the User ID and save it for later use.
- Click Show to reveal the Merchant REST API key to integrate Okendo with AfterShip Feed. Copy the API key and save it for later use.
Return to the Okendo installation page in AfterShip Feed and paste the User ID and API key in their respective fields.
Click Submit.
Once Okendo is connected, it will display below the Active review source. All your newly collected reviews will be synced to TikTok Shop automatically. You can also sync your historical reviews manually later.
Toggle on Auto-sync new reviews if you want to automatically sync all new verified reviews from your review source to TikTok Shop.
Manually sync existing reviews from your review source to TikTok Shop by setting the time range and clicking Sync.
With Auto-sync new reviews enabled, you can see your store’s verified product reviews automatically being synced to your TikTok Shop.
No, all verified reviews will be synced to TikTok Shop, regardless of their star rating or publish/unpublish status.
TikTok has its own content moderation policy. Only reviews that meet this policy are accepted for display on TikTok. Reviews that don’t comply will be rejected during the sync process and won’t appear on TTS.
No, importing reviews will not impact the shop’s Negative Review Rating.
The only requirement is that reviews must be verified, meaning they should be genuine post-purchase reviews. There are no limitations on the quantity or time range of reviews.
Reviews synced from AfterShip to TikTok Shop will be added as new reviews and will not override existing reviews.
It will take up to 1-3 hours for reviews to sync to TikTok Shop.
